Mission Statement

Western has an exceptional concentration of scholars who focus on leadership.  We are blessed with pre-eminent junior, mid-career and senior scholars who have a passion for leadership research and achieved international prominence through their work. The subject of leadership, moreover, is a longstanding focus of Western’s research ambitions.  The creation of the Leadership Education and Research Development (LEADR) group aims to link researchers across the campus toward deepening this area of specialization, and focusing the research agendas already in progress. Through expanding key networks and facilitating the transmission of new ideas across the disciplines, we’ll position Western University as a globally recognized focal point for leadership thought, research and education.
